Spend Or Skip? GrandeBROW (7 week update)
I must confess that I procrastinated writing this post an extra week because I was somewhat discouraged by my GrandeBROW results. At the six-week mark (one week ago), I'd not noted a significant improvement in density—nor new growth in my brows' anemic tails. But then, over the weekend, I took an “after” photo, and when I compared it to my “before” taken in late July, I was surprised at what I saw.
Check out my before/after photo on Instagram here.
I do believe my brows look a teensy bit fuller at the tails and (maybe?) a wee bit darker. I thought I’d noted a deepening hue last month, but I also had just gotten my hair colored, so decided my new highlights were making my brows appear darker by comparison. My before/after photos, however, seem to suggest my brows may in fact have deepened. Not sure if this is because of some boost in pigment—or because of an uptick in density (more hair + less skin showing through =richer color). Either way, in my opinion, it suggests progress.
One other funny side effect to note: I have had to keep my brow scissors handy. A few times, in what felt like the span of an hour, I sprouted these long, rogue hairs that reached well above my brow line. No big deal—one snip and they’re gone. But the formula’s prostaglandin must be causing these rebellious strands to grow so quickly (and far beyond their peers).
So that’s my seven-week summary. Not Lash Boost-rivaling results (but when I wrote my first Lash Boost update, I was not yet blown away by what I was seeing either). I’ll continue with GrandeBROW for another six to seven weeks—and report back.
Note: If you’ve tried GrandeBROW, I’d love to hear what you think. (Or, if you’ve been using another brow-growth treatment that’s produced significant results, please share.) Email me at genevieve@mediumblondeblog.com or tell us all in the Comments below.
