If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you know I’ve been a Lash Boost user for nearly two years. And while I’m pleased with the lash length I’ve achieved, my eye fringe has never gotten super full.

In case you missed the news, a class-action lawsuit was filed last month against Rodan + Fields, contending that Lash Boost, the brand’s $150 lash serum, violated consumer protection laws.
I must confess that I procrastinated writing this post one extra week because I was somewhat discouraged by my GrandeBROW results thus far. At the six-week mark (one week ago), I'd not noted a significant improvement in density—nor new growth in my brows' anemic tails. But then, over the weekend, I took an “after” photo, and when I compared it to my “before” taken in late July, I was surprised at what I saw.
If every anti-aging product on the market really did what it claimed, we'd all look 18. And while there are many effective products that help make the most of our looks as we age (and I, for one, like the way I look better at 45 than I did at 18), there are also many that are nothing but snake oil. Thus, I've created this series, Spend or Skip?, in which I will apply my twenty years as a beauty guinea pig to objectively road-test and review buzz-generating, anti-aging products that everyone's talking about. The mission: to help you decide whether to buy—or bypass—the latest fountain of youth. My latest testee: GrandeBROW
It’s been six, not four, weeks since my last Lash Boost update. I stretched the time between posts in hopes I would have some notable changes to report. So, here goes…
I just passed the twelve-week mark, and have seriously l-o-n-g lashes, corner to corner. As I noted at the eight-week mark, I was hoping another month of Lash Boost use would bring improved density.
In the past week, I’ve been to New York City, Greenwich, Bronxville, Jersey, and Tennessee. All this traveling did prevent me from posting—but not from stockpiling new beauty and health info. My trip to the East Coast was peppered with breakfasts, lunches and cocktails with editors and publicists (and I took copious notes). Then Mary Kay took me—and about two dozen other beauty editors—to Blackberry Farm outside of Knoxville to showcase their new spring and summer launches. I’ll be weaving info from this weeklong trip into posts for weeks to come, but here, to start, are five (surprising!) tips and tricks I picked up along the way.
It works. So many of you have been messaging me, asking when my next Lash Boost update will appear, I didn’t want to bury the lead. So there you go: Lash Boost delivers. Here’s the scoop.
It has been three weeks and four days since I started my Lash Boost application. Rodan+ Fields says some (lucky ducks) may see results in as little as four weeks, while, for others, it can take closer to six to eight weeks. I think I fall in the latter group.
