The Must-Have Fall Nailcolor That’s Going, Going…

I’ve been wearing Essie’s Stop, Drop and Shop non-stop for two weeks now: It’s a surprisingly neutral deep rose that’s part of Essie’s Fall Collection—but doesn’t look out of place on September days that still feel like summer. (Note: Essie calls it “mulberry red” but I think it’s more dark, velvety pink.)

I’m not, however, the only one taken with this shade: Two friends borrowed my bottle at the nail salon this week–and, as I sat down to write this post, I noticed it appears to be sold out online.

Thus, consider this a Public Service Announcement. If you want to try this chic autumn hue, get on it. I saw a few unclaimed bottles at Target here in Ann Arbor yesterday (go to target.com to see if there are any in stock near you). Similarly, it is sold out at ulta.com, but you may still be able to find a few bottles in their brick and mortar stores—as well as at spas and boutiques that carry the Essie seasonal collections. Click on “find in store or salon” here to locate boutiques near you that may still have it in stock. And if you still come up empty? Try one of these equally-chic rosey alternatives: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Proper-P Rose; Smith + Cult’s Analog Fog; or Dior Lacquer in 785 Cosmopolite.
